Here’s a suggested itinerary by road, starting from Haridwar:

Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot (Yamunotri Base)

  • Drive: 210 km / 7–8 hrs
  • En route: Mussoorie, Kempty Falls
  • Overnight stay in Barkot


Day 2: This Day start journey from Barkot reach to Yamunotri Dham then return back Barkot

  • Barkot to Janki Chatti (36 km), then trek 6 km to Yamunotri
  • Visit Yamunotri Temple and return
  • Overnight stay in Barkot


Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi

  • Drive: 100 km / 4 hrs
  • Explore Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi
  • Overnight stay


Day 4: Today start journey from Uttarkashi  & reach to Gangotri Dham then return back to Uttarkashi

  • Drive: 100 km one way
  • Darshan at Gangotri Temple

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

  • Drive: 220 km / 9–10 hrs
  • Long scenic drive through mountain roads

Day 6: Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath It is optional you want to Trek or want to travel by Helicopter
